Regular Hunting And Fishing Licenses
Regular hunting and fishing licenses may be purchased at the Tax Collector's Ft. Pierce Office and the Port St. Lucie Office. These licenses are also available from our subagent's throughout St. Lucie County. Click here for a listing of subagent's.
For your convenience, regular hunting and fishing licenses may also be purchased directly over the telephone from the Florida Fish And Wildlife Conservation Commission. A $3.25 + 2.5% surcharge of total sale per person will be added to your purchase. To place your order for a fishing license over the telephone, dial toll-free (888)486-8356.
You can also purchase your license directly over the internet. A $2.25 + 2.5% surcharge of total sale per person will be added to your purchase.
Replacements for lost or destroyed hunting and fishing licenses are available in the Tax Collector's Ft. Pierce Office and the Port St. Lucie Office. A lost or destroyed license or 5 year license may be replaced for $2.00. A lost or destroyed lifetime license may be replaced for $10.00.
Lifetime and 5 year hunting and fishing licenses are available in St. Lucie County only at the Tax Collector's Ft. Pierce Office and the Port St. Lucie Office.
Florida residents may purchase an annual sportsman license, which covers freshwater fishing, hunting, management area permits, turkey stamp, state duck stamp, archery permit and muzzle loader permit. The sportsman license does not include federal duck stamps.
Persons born on or after June 1, 1975 cannot purchase a hunting license unless they show proof of successful completion of a hunter education safety course. Contact the local Fish & Wildlife Office in West Palm Beach, for the dates of Hunter Safety Classes. Children under the age of 16 are allowed to hunt under the supervision of an adult without having completed the hunter education course.
Applications for resident freshwater commercial fishing licenses are submitted to the Florida Fish And Wildlife Conservation Commission in Tallahassee and may be obtained from the Tax Collector's Ft. Pierce Office and the Port St. Lucie Office.
