Saltwater Fishing License, Fees And Exemptions
All persons saltwater fishing in Florida must possess a valid saltwater fishing license, excluding those entitled to the following exemptions:
Any individual under 16 years of age
 :
Florida residents 65 years of age or older that can show proof of age and residency... such as provided by a Florida Driver License or voter registration card.
 :
Florida residents fishing in saltwater from land, a structure fixed to land, jettison or licensed fishing pier.
 :
Florida residents who are disabled who have been issued a special permit. Permits are renewable every two years if qualified under Social Security and five years under Veteran's qualifications.
 :
Military personnel who are residents of Florida and are home on leave for a period of 30 days or less and have valid orders in their possession.
 :
Any individual fishing from a boat that has been issued a vessel saltwater fishing license.
Saltwater fishing licenses may be purchased from the Tax Collector's Ft. Pierce Office and the Port St. Lucie Office, types and cost as follows:

When purchasing these licenses from a subagent, add an additional 50¢ to the cost of the license. Licenses may be purchased directly over the telephone from the Florida Fish And Wildlife Conservation Commission.
