Registrations are renewed annually. Boat registrations will be issued to expire annually during the birth month of the 1st owner listed on the registration. For company owned boats, the expiration date is June 30th.

The Tax Collector does, however, provide renewal notices as a courtesy to resident boat owners. The courtesy renewal notices are mailed approximately 3 weeks prior to the month in which the registration expires.
Initial boat registrations and boat registration renewals can be obtain at the Tax Collector's Ft. Pierce Office and the Port St. Lucie Office.
Boat registration renewal transactions may also be conducted On-line at this web site.
Warning: Individuals operating a motorized vessel without a current registration are subject to be cited for a non-criminal infraction.
