New to Florida?

Click here for a list of what you'll need to bring into our office to obtain your driver license or ID card.

Are you REAL ID Compliant?

Starting October 1, 2020, all U.S. adults — including Floridians — will need to present a REAL ID-compliant license or another acceptable form of identification for domestic air travel.

Not sure if your ID is REAL ID compliant? If you have a gold star on your driver license or identification card, you’re good to go.

If your ID is not REAL ID compliant, you must visit a Tax Collector’s office in person to obtain a REAL ID. You cannot upgrade to a REAL ID online. If your driver license is valid and unexpired, it will remain valid for driving purposes until the expiration date. Click here for a checklist of required documents to obtain a REAL ID.

If you have legally changed your name by marriage or court order, you must submit a copy of your marriage certificate(s) or court order(s). You must show documentation of all name changes.

Please remember to update your records with the Social Security Administration at least 24 hours before visiting our office for a name change on your driver license.

For Applicants Under 18

Warning: Drivers under 18 years of age will need to download, complete and print the parent consent forms below.
